Careers Service Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for a Careers Service Manager to lead the FRA's dedicated and driven Careers Service Team and provide operational management to deliver innovative and inclusive careers touchpoints across all identified FRA provisions.

The role will significantly contribute to the best imaginable experience for students, ensuing clear communication to all stakeholders. The post holder will work collaboratively with wider FRA teams including Delivery and Marketing, to manage and support the coordination of careers guidance within the taught curriculum, maintain and develop the FRA Alumni, and work collaboratively to manage Careers Fair events and external relationships.

This role will require a close working relationship with established tech partners to manage and maintain the careers platform. This role will include an element of teaching in the classroom, in regard to providing professional and personal development training to the FRA student population and will contribute to the EIF Ofsted Framework and ensure adherence to Gatsby benchmarking.

The successful candidate will be educated to degree level or equivalent and have experience of working in/coordinating a Careers Service and providing advice and guidance. You must have proven management or coordination experience and experience of strong communication with key external relationships. We are seeking someone who has knowledge of the Fashion Retail Industry and its recruitment processes as well as knowledge of University and FE College processes in relation to progression.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential to the role, as is the ability to build good relationships with students and other colleagues.  You must have good IT and administrative skills and be confident with presenting and public speaking.
